For those of you who have been following our brand for the last 6 years (almost 7!), you know that our focus has always been to make all of our garments in the USA. While this is still our main goal and will continue to be where 99% of our items are produced, we really want to branch out with more detailed and complex styles while still maintaining a price point that isn't astronomical.
First and foremost, I want to stress that having a label that says "Made in China" does not automatically equate to cheap goods or sweat shop labor. We are being very diligent in the sourcing process to ensure that our garments will be made in a factory that treats its employees well and also pays a livable wage. We will only be working with factories that have low minimums, which will mean more attention to detail, skilled sewing and fostering a long-lasting relationship.
Some of you might be disappointed reading this, and we do understand. If it were financially feasible to get items like this made in the USA trust us, we would be! But we've always wanted to be an accessible brand - not just in sizing but also in pricing. We don't think that you should have to spend $400 to get an amazing coat or $300 for a really special dress, which is precisely why we are exploring every option. We always want to be as transparent as possible, and we want you all along for the process every step of the way!
