Terms and Conditions

For preorder items:

All preorder dates are estimates and subject to change, due to production or supply chain issues. We will notify our customers of any egregious date changes. Once an order is placed that contains a preorder item, we will allow cancellation within 48 hours of placing the order. Otherwise, the order may not be cancelled.

If an order is placed that contains a preorder item and a current in-stock item, the order will not ship until all preorder items in that order have arrived. Orders only ship complete.


All orders that do not contain any preorder items will be shipped within 5 business days. During sales such as Black Friday or our Birthday Sale, processing times might be higher.

Once a package has shipped, we are not able to retrieve it. If you get a notification that your package has been delivered but you didn't actually receive it, please contact the shipping service immediately. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, shipping times are longer than usual, especially international shipments. Please do not contact us asking where your package is, we do not have any additional information. If you are concerned that a package might be lost, please contact the shipping service for more information or to file a claim.


Items that are purchased at full price may be returned within 30 days of receipt as long as they are in new, unworn condition. If we receive a return and it is stained or otherwise needs to be cleaned or repaired, we will charge a 20% cleaning fee. ITEMS IN THE SALE SECTION ARE FINAL SALE AND CANNOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED.

All full-price items that are returned within the 30 day window will receive a full refund, minus a $2 restocking fee.

If you would like to exchange an item for a different size, please email us with your desired exchange at johanna@waxpoeticclothing.com

You will be responsible for return and exchange shipping. Once we receive the item that you would like to exchange, we will send an invoice for the cost of shipping the exchange item.

We will not issue refunds if the returned item is not shipped within the 30 day window.

Items purchased from our "SALE" section are FINAL SALE and are not eligible for returns, refunds or exchanges.


Items purchased during one of our major sales events - such as Black Friday, Birthday Sale, Labor Day, 4th of July, etc - are FINAL SALE AND CANNOT BE RETURNED/EXCHANGED

Customs fees/duties:

If you are located outside of the USA, you might be subject to customs fees, duties, or VAT. You will be responsible for paying these fees before receiving your items. If the package comes back to us due to refusal to pay customs fees, we will not refund your shipping and will charge a $2 restocking fee for each item in your order. You will not receive a refund until the package arrives back to our headquarters.
